    mid life crisis

    Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 05:02 PM [General]

    well it has happened,

what amounts to a midlife crisis in my generation of my family.

as each of us has hit the age of thirty (or are getting close) we all get the great idea to join the military.

    its my turn. :)

the only one of my gen. that broke the mold is my younger brother, he joined when he was 21.

I come from a long line of military servicemembers. and I think it is one of the best things someone could do.

to serve my country is a great honor. and I am proud to join.

it is just that I am not an altogether athletic person. and getting ready to go to boot camp is killing me. I am terrified.

well anyway wish me luck, I think I will need it.

Well my Lady, a strong decision. Be tough and make yourself proud. You can always make others proud, being proud of yourself is a lot harder to do, and a lot more rewarding in the long run. Best of luck.

Godspeed to you dear girl. Your family's service is very much appreciated and we must never take those of you who serve for granted. :-)

    Wow!...and WOW!

I just started doing my little exercise programs simply for my own vanity (things get mushy after 40) but boot camp is a whole other animal, lol! Best of luck to you!

Being 27 and still on occasion thinking of such, I wish you the best. Hopefully 'tis something that you want and can gain great knowledge from :). I for one have faith in you ;).
